Image to GIF Converter

Combine multiple images into an animated GIF with custom frame delay.

About This Tool

Image to GIF Converter is a free online tool that turns multiple JPG, PNG, or WebP images into an animated GIF — right in your browser. Upload your frames, drag to set the order, choose the frame delay, and create your GIF in one click. No uploads, no server, no software needed.

GIF encoding runs entirely in your browser using a JavaScript GIF encoder. The frame delay controls animation speed from 50ms (very fast) to 2000ms (2 seconds per frame). Frames can be reordered by dragging the thumbnails. Images of the same dimensions produce the smoothest, most consistent animations.

Image to GIF is used by content creators making animated social media posts or reactions, developers creating simple UI demonstration animations, designers making animated mockups or slide show exports, and anyone who wants to turn a sequence of images into a shareable animated GIF without installing software.

FAQ

What image formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, and WebP images are supported. GIF files are not accepted as input since you would use GIF to PNG for those.

Is there a limit on the number of frames?

There is no hard limit. However, GIFs with many large frames may take a moment to encode. For best results, use images of the same size.

How do I control animation speed?

Use the frame delay setting (in milliseconds). Lower values = faster animation (50ms = very fast), higher values = slower (1000ms = 1 second per frame, 2000ms = 2 seconds per frame).

Will the GIF look pixelated or low quality?

GIF format supports a maximum of 256 colors per frame. Photos with many colors will show some dithering. For sharp graphics, logos, or limited-color illustrations, GIF quality will be excellent.

Can I create a looping GIF?

Yes. The generated GIF loops indefinitely by default, which is the standard behavior for animated GIFs on the web.
